Object resembles a short barreled firearm made from brass and carved wood with a dial on the barrel indicating to symbols representing various outer and inner planes of existence. Instead of the usual hammer mechanism there is a thin slot into which an attuned planar tuning fork may be inserted. Once loaded with a tuning fork the Derringer can be fired as an action up to 3 times after which the tuning fork disintegrates and the Derringer must be reloaded. If fired at a flat surface the Derringer creates a 7ft by 4ft oval shaped portal which acts as according to the Planeshift Spell.
