The Zephyrstriders are a pair of ethereal and elegant sandals that embody the essence of the wind. Crafted from a silvery, lightweight material, the sandals appear to be woven from strands of air itself. The design consists of intricate patterns resembling swirling gusts of wind, etched into the material with a mesmerizing precision.
Dormant
The sandals, in their dormant state, emanate a faint, gentle breeze. The patterns on the sandals seem to flutter, giving the impression of a perpetual zephyr surrounding them. When activated, the sandals bestow a sense of nimbleness and grace upon the wearer, allowing for swift and agile movements. While attuned to Zephyrstriders in their dormant state you gain the following benefits:
- You gain a +10 bonus to your movement speed
- Once per long rest, you can use Step Of The Wind as a free action without expending Ki points.
- You gain advantage on sound based (stealth) checks. And can move stealthily at a normal pace
Awakened
As the Zephyrstriders awaken, the patterns become more pronounced and vibrant. The silver material takes on a slightly iridescent quality, shimmering like the surface of a breeze-kissed pond. The sandals now exude a subtle hum, reminiscent of a distant, calming wind. The wearer leaves a faint trail of swirling motes in their wake as they move. While attuned to Zephyrstriders in their awakened state you gain the following benefits:
- You gain a +1 bonus to armor class
- You gain resistance to thunder damage
- Your unarmed attacks deal additional 1d4 force damage
Exalted
In their exalted form, the Zephyrstriders undergo a transformation. The material of the sandals becomes semi-translucent, and the swirling patterns now glow with a radiant, azure light. Wisps of wind encircle the wearer's feet, creating a miniature cyclone that follows their every step. When airborne, the sandals leave behind a trail of wispy clouds, further emphasizing the celestial nature of the wind's embrace. While attuned to Zephyrstriders in their Exalted state you gain the following benefits
- The sandal now grant +2 bonus to armor class
- Your unarmed attacks now deal additional 1d6 force damage
- You gain flying speed equal to your movement speed. This flight is wind guided and requires concentration.
- You can once per long rest, as an action unleash a burst of wind in a 30-foot cone. Creatures in the area must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier) or be pushed 20 feet away and knocked prone. On a successful save they are not pushed.
