If you spend one week studying the book's contents, memorising and internalising its lessons, your Wisdom and Intelligence scores increase by 1 each. You can choose to spend an additional week preaching the book's instructions to others, teaching and guiding people - if you do, your Wisdom and Intelligence scores increase by 1 each again. Afterwards, this tome disappears in a puff of smoke, teleporting to some distant land to continue sharing its contents.
