A small, needle sharp dart containing a single dose of Witchbane toxin.
On a successful hit, the target must make a DC 18 (CON) saving throw vs Poison.
On a failure the target loses 1d6 total spell levels from available spell slots. (So a result of 3 could be paid by a single 3rd level spell slot, or 3 first level spell slots. If no lower level spell slots are available a higher level slot can be used to pay the cost.)
If the target is a caster, but cannot pay the spell slot cost from the toxin, it loses all remaining spell slots plus a d6 damage for each spell level it could not pay (min. 1) And also the target is unable to cast any spell (cantrip, scroll or other) for 1d4 turns.
Proficiency with a Dart allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Finesse, Thrown, Vex
