Weapon (crossbow, light), uncommon

The Wrist-Mounted Grappling Hook is a ranged weapon that can be utilized for movement, item retrieval, or disrupting foes. The gadget has three charges and recharges at the dawn of each day.

  • As an action, the grappling hook can be shot out with a range of 30/60. Before roll is made, the user may decide if the hook will be set into the object/person or not.
  • Once the hook is locked in place, as a bonus action, the hook can be retracted, pulling the user 30 ft. towards the anchor.
  • If the anchor becomes lodged in a person, a contested athletics check can be made to pull the target towards the user, knocking the target prone. If failed, the user will be pulled instead.

Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
