This dusty and faded tomb is marked with a bone crafted emblem in the shape of a face on the cover.  A dim green mist surrounds the book as it is held.

Dormant: This tome is a +1 tome.  The spell caster who is attuned to this writ knows all cantrips of the Necromancy School.

Kindled:  The Tome is now a +2.  The caster's skin begins to dull and but not change.  While attuned you are unable to age.  Once per long rest when targeted by a spell that misses or when successfully passing a saving throw, the book will absorb the spell and redirect it as an action on the following turn.  Damage dealt by spells can be necrotic damage instead of their stated damage type.
