Weapon (halberd), uncommon

This bec de corbin has a lightweight alloy of some sort keeping it easy to maneuver. The shaft is very sturdy and has no give. The head is solid black steel coming to a sharp point at the end. Close to the end there is a curved hook sticking out about 3 inches and opposite the hook, a heavy coronel hammer. A Wyvern faces out above the hammer head, and coils around each piece of the end, its tail wrapping down all the way to the end of the Steel head. 

Properties:
With the different pieces of the head of the bec de corbin, different fighting styles can be used.

1. Piercing Beak: The bec de corbin can be used for piercing attacks. When making an attack with the beak, you gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls against armored targets. This beak is effective against armored opponents, allowing you to pierce through their defenses.

2. Blunt Force Hammer: The hammer side of the bec de corbin can be used for powerful, crushing blows. When making an attack with the hammer, you can choose to deal bludgeoning damage instead of piercing. 

3. Hook and Trip: The back of the bec de corbin's head has a hook that can be used to trip opponents. When you make a successful attack with the hook, you can choose to attempt a trip. The target must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + Prof + STR) or be knocked prone.

Proficiency with a Halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
