Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a given by an Illithid, unable to be re-attuned, and only requiring a single attunement to attach itself to a person)

The Shadow Amulet consists of a thick golden chain and a large, red, bedazzled jewel. The Shadow Amulet is a magical item given to very few individuals, required attunement or else the wearer will eventually fade to dust and die. It is almost always won, usually in a tournament of skill. It increases the power of the motor skills and the mystics of a person, but it comes at a great cost to their sanity and general constitution. After several consecutive days, the color of the jewel turns a deep purple with liquid shadows flowing off of it. It only takes a few days to return back to its original color. Whenever the amulet turns into its darker shades, it damages the user's sanity more and more and removes more and more constitution, yet the amulet will also give some bonuses to the pre-exsisting power.

This item's appearance and downsides are based off of the Nightmare Amulet from Don't Starve/Don't Starve Together. 

Notes: The Amulet increases it's power every third night and changes its color and effectiveness, the levels of power are described below. On 5 charges - The Amulet is yellow, +2 DEX modifier and +1 WIS modifier, but -2 CON modifier On 4 charges - The Amulet is orange, +2 WIS modifier, but -1 CON modifier On 3 charges - The Amulet is red, +2 INT, but -1 STR modifier. You gain one roll of DEX/WIS advantage per day. On 2 charges - The Amulet is green. You gain another roll of DEX/WIS advantage per day, but you gain disadvantage on CON rolls On 1 charge - The Amulet is blue, +2 DEX modifier, but -1 CON modifier. Your skin glows a faint yellow that illuminates a light barely enough to fend off Grues. You gain disadvantage on CON saving throws. On 0 charges - The Amulet is purple and liquid shadow emanates off of it, +5 CON, +1 STR, but -1 DEX and -1 WIS. You gain a final saving throw if the previous rolls results in a failure; You must flip a coin, and if the result is Heads you resurrect, if it's Tails your soul is trapped within the Amulet. Upon resurrection, the user has half of their max HP, but loses 20% of their max HP (Half from prior max HP). All of the buffs and de-buffs fade and the Amulet raises up and shatters, releasing any souls previously attuned to it. The User gets a permanent +1 DEX point and the ability to glow yellow when the most require it., given by an Illithid, unable to be re-attuned, and only requiring a single attunement to attach itself to a person
