Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a rogue)
Woven from the ethereal threads of the Shadowfell and imbued with the essence of departed souls, the Wraithweave Mantle is a cloak that blends its wearer into the darkness, making them a mere whisper in the night. It carries with it the chill of the grave and the silent promise of the inevitable end that awaits all.
- Dormant:
- Grants advantage on Stealth checks.
- The wearer can cast Pass Without Trace once per long rest.
- Once per long rest, the wearer can use the cloak to become intangible for 1 round, allowing them to move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain.
- Awakened:
- The wearer gains the ability to see in magical darkness.
- Pass Without Trace can now be used twice per long rest.
- The wearer can cast Silence once per long rest.
- Once per long rest, the wearer can perform a Phantom Strike: after hitting a creature with a sneak attack, the wearer can teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space they can see, leaving behind a spectral clone that distracts the target, giving it disadvantage on its next attack roll.
- Exalted:
- The wearer can cast Etherealness once per long rest.
- Silence can now be used twice per long rest.
- Phantom Strike's teleportation distance increases to 60 feet, and the spectral clone can now make a single melee weapon attack against the target with the same bonuses as the wearer.
- Once per long rest, the wearer can activate the Veil of the Reaper: for 1 minute, the wearer becomes a shadowy figure of death, gaining resistance to all damage except radiant, advantage on all attack rolls against creatures that haven't taken a turn in combat yet, and their sneak attacks deal an additional 2d6 necrotic damage.
Notes: Advantage: Stealth, rogue
