While not actually a magical weapon, this trick cane appears innocuous at first but has a hidden danger. With two switches on the handle, the cane can transform into a deadly weapon. The first switch brings out toothy blades, making the cane a slashing weapon based on DEX that deals 1d8 and can be used to surprise targets. The second switch then takes this bladed cane and transforms it into a chain whip with 10ft of reach. This whip deals 2d4 slashing damage, and could be used creatively to entangle targets for further damage.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
