A wretched sword with a jagged, ebony blade. Its hilt resembles a blackened, withered forearm, its gnarled fingers serving as a crude pommel.
Embedded in its guard is a strange, blood-coloured gem.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
When you successfully attack a creature with it, roll a D6 to inflict that many points of necrotic damage to the target if it isn't a construct or an undead.
If you roll a 20 on the attack die, roll a D12 instead.
If a creature you attack has 30 or fewer hit points remaining, said target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 13.)
On a failure, the creature dies regardless of how many hit points it had remaining.
Curse. This sword is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. As long as you remain cursed, you cannot unequip the weapon as the hand on the pommel will place a firm, almost unbreakable grasp on your character's arm. If you enter combat with this weapon equipped and your turn ends without an attack being declared, the sword will drain its wielder for 1D6 necrotic damage. If a creature is killed by this weapon, one of the hand's fingers will relax its grip and curl up into its palm. If all five fingers retract in this manner, the curse breaks, the sword falls to the floor, and no longer requires attunement. You also have 2 charges of the Blight spell that can be cast at 4th Level, but only while this weapon is equipped. Said charges are restored after a long rest.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Cursed, Versatile, Sap
