A shield gifted to you by King Geruf himself for your valiant efforts and bravery in the war against the vampire menace. This shield is from the king's own vault of magical items and artifacts. It was rewarded to you during the Century of Fang and Steel.
LEVEL 5 UPGRADES
Adept Shield Attack Proficiency: As a bonus action you may use your shield to attack an enemy within 5ft of you use the following stats when determining a roll to hit and damage +7 to hit and 2d8 bludgeoning damage.
Adept Shield Movement Proficiency: As your action, you can move up to your movement speed as if you were charging towards an enemy with your shield out in front of you, If you end this action within 5ft of another creature they must pass a strength saving throw DC (8+your proficiency bonus+STR modifier)= the DC on a pass they are pushed back 5ft on a fail they are pushed back and knocked prone
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
Notes: Sun's Wrath You create a sphere of total light as bright and as potent as sunlight any fiend in this aura must make a constitution saving throw DC of 15 at the start of each of their turns on a failure they take 3d6 radiant damage, on a successful save they take half. Any undead in the aura suffer from the same condition. Vampires however take their own rules as written damage from sunlight plus the make the saving throw listed above.
