Congratulations!  
You are now the proud owner of one of Spintrill’s Sensational Sending Stones!  
With proper preparation and care, your Stone will keep you and your cherished ones connected wherever your adventures may take you, for as long as it takes until you are together again!
First, please take some time to Attune yourself to your Stone.  
Once that is completed, you must connect your stone with the other 5 for at least one hour (this can be done all together or one at a time as you wish!)  
Afterwards, simply hold the stone in your hand and focus your thoughts on the person or persons you wish to message.  The Sending will only work once per sunrise, so choose your words carefully!  If you are the recipient of a message but not actively holding your Stone, it will gently notify you that someone wishes to connect!

Spintrill was a polyamorous artificer who wanted ways to keep in touch with her partners.  She modified 6 of them to link together so that each person with a stone could contact any of the others as needed.   She further modified them to store the message, though the magic binding messages to the stones is a bit unstable.

Spintrill's Sensational Sending Stones come with instructions that the stones must be "attuned" to one another after they have been attuned to their respective users, but magical observation suggests this is not a magical necessity.  Perhaps this was just an excuse to get everyone together.

While holding your stone, you can use an action to cast the sending spell from it while focusing on a bearer of one of the other stones. If the stone is not actively being touched by the bearer (i.e. kept in a pouch or a pocket), the stone will alert the bearer that a message has been sent. 

(DM note:  roll 1d4 to determine which effect will alert the bearer. The longer the stone is left untouched, the more intense the effect will be.  Flavor as desired.)

The bearer can reply to a stored message, but it must be at the time of hearing.  Relayed messages will also be held and bearers notified as above. 

Alerts will continue until the Attuned touches the stone, or after a full day has passed. 

Messages not collected after 24 hours will disappear, and the stone will reset.  It must be attuned again in order to reconnect to the others.

If one or more of the stones are destroyed, all stones will send a notification without a message.
