Weapon (halberd), artifact (requires attunement by a character with a Strength score of 16 or higher and an Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma score of 16 or higher.)

A bronze-bladed scythe sharpened and specialized for battle, its blade having been imbued with the essence of time itself. You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Additionally, this weapon grants the following benefits to a player attuned to it:

1. Any creature hit with this weapon must succeed a Charisma saving throw (DC equals 8 + your Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma modifier) or be placed in a temporal lock until the beginning of your next turn. You may only have one creature placed in a temporal lock at a time. While in a temporal lock:

  • the creature is paralyzed and is unaware of its surroundings.
  • the creature is "locked" in place and cannot fall or be pushed or pulled.
  • the creature ceases aging.
  • poisons or diseases in the creature's system are suspended.

2. This weapon holds one charge. Expending it allows the user to cast time stop once without expending a spell slot. Once used, this feature takes 3 days to recharge.

Proficiency with a Halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Paralyzed, character with a Strength score of 16 or higher and an Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma score of 16 or higher., Combat, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Cleave
