Weapon (scimitar), rare (requires attunement)

You can use a bonus action to speak this magic sword's command word, causing a whirlwind to erupt from the blade. While the sword is swirling, it deals an extra 1d6 magical slashing damage to any target it hits. Any creature hit by a strike from the blade while the whirlwind is active must make a DC 12 Strength save or be pushed back 5 feet. The whirlwind last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword.

While the whirlwind is active, the wielder may make a ranged weapon attack sending a slash of wind up to 50 feet. A creature hit by the wind takes 1d6 magical slashing damage and must make a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be pushed back 5 feet. 

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
