The ornate slab of granite has been intertwined with finely laid jade. The sculpture within the stone tells the story of a lost god. The being known as Xolotl that guards the sun through the land of the dead, and whose eyes were torn from them. When one grips the coiled jade hilt this being with a hand forever in both death and lightning makes its presence known.
- This Item is Considered a Martial Weapon: Macuahuitl. This sturdy weapon does 2d4 Slashing Damage when wielded one handed.
- Honed Edge: This Weapon Has +2 to Attack and Damage rolls.
- Horse Cleaver: During a Rest, the Weapon can be coaxed into growing its form to a 2-Handed Blade, doing 2d6 Slashing Damage in this form. The Blade is only considered Heavy when used this way.
- Stormfront: A Bonus Action, the user can speak the Command Phrase and Activate the engery within. When activated, it is bathed in Lightning, causing the weapon to do an additional 2d6 Lightning Damage on hit.
- Lord of the Dead: While Long Forgotten, attunement grants the user a boon from Xolotl. If reduced to 0HP, the user automatically succeeds their first Death Saving Throw.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
