Rod, very rare
This magical flower is trapped in a metallic form. Speaking its magic word activates it, in which case the rose becomes free once again. In the time in which it is free, it and its bearer will rapidly decay. At the start of each of the bearers turns for 5 turns, they take 4d8 necrotic damage, and the rose begins to wither. As an action on their turn, they can cast the Blight spell requiring no material components. Once those 5 turns are spent, the rose completely withers, except for a single petal. This petal can be placed in a special kind of soil known as "Soul Sand," only found in the depths of Hell. When it is, it sprouts into a new withering rose in approximately 1d4 months, if tended to and watered daily.
