Thunderous Impact: Whenever you hit a creature with the Stormfire Hammer, it unleashes a thunderous boom. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away from you and knocked prone.
-
Infernal Fury: As a bonus action, you can command the obsidian head of the hammer to burst into flames. Until you dismiss the flames as a bonus action or complete a long rest, the hammer deals an additional 1d6 fire damage on each successful hit. Additionally, any creature hit by the hammer takes an additional 1d6 fire damage at the start of each of its turns until it uses its action to extinguish the flames.
-
Lightning Surge: As an action, you can call upon the elemental powers within the hammer to unleash a torrential storm of lightning. Each creature within 30 feet of you must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 8d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Additionally, a creature that fails its save is paralyzed for 1 minute. It can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. This ability can be used once per honorable kill*.
*Honorable kill rules:
- The creature must be of a severe threat level, this will be decided by the DM.
- The creature must be faced head-on without the use of stealth or surprise.
- The creature must be killed by a melee strike, not a spell.
