At first, the Windup Toy Coach doesn't seem to be anything special. It is a simple toy with two clockwork-like horses, a coachman, and a fancy coach. One might expect a noble or royal to ride in it—a keyhole in the back where the owner winds the toy up.
Once wound and placed on the ground, the toy expands to life-size and can be entered. Only the one who wields the key and those the keyholder chooses may enter the coach.
Inside is a spacious luxury RV-like layout. No matter how many people enter the Coach, everyone will always have enough sleeping space. The bedrooms are small enough for one or two people and have limited storage except for the Keyholder's Master bedroom, which has a Kingsize bed and private bathroom (with a private tub).
The Coach's magic must be recharged after traveling for 12 hours. It takes 8 hours (Long Rest) for the toy's magic to be fully charged. During the recharge rate, the coach will remain enlarged unless deactivated by the keyholder, at which point it returns to its toy form.
The passengers do not feel like they are traveling in a coach, though they can easily see the scenery pass by through a window.
The Coach is all-terrain, able to pass over swamps, mud, rocks, and sand without a problem. However, it will stop if the direct path is stopped and will not move until the keyholder gives directions. For this reason, it is recommended that you stay on the roads.
Water and waste are magically created and destroyed within the coach, but food is not available with this model. Please get in touch with your Magic Toy Coach dealer for possible upgrades.
Notes: Attunement is needed for the key to recognize you as the rightful owner. Standard anti-thief method.
