This black, metal medallion is forged in the shape of the head of the animal representing your witcher school. The medallion hums with a faint magical resonance when near sources of magic.

Enhanced Perception. While wearing the medallion, you have advantage on Wisdom (Insight), Wisdom (Perception), and Intelligence (Investigation) checks when searching for clues about a creature's whereabouts or detecting the presence of a creature or magical item.

Spellcasting. The medallion has 1 charge and regains expended charges daily at dawn. While wearing it, you can use an action to cast Detect Magic or Locate Creature from the medallion. The spell does not require material components. Once the medallion's charge is expended, it cannot be used to cast a spell again until the next dawn.
