This is a basic quarterstaff modified by a tinkerer. When you push the top button glider wings pop out of top and bottom and you can use this contraption to glide, provided your weight (including whatever you are wearing or carrying) doesn’t exceed 300 pounds. The glider has a gliding speed of 50 feet, and it drops in altitude 10 feet per round while you are riding it. It can’t hover. If the glider loses its rider while airborne, it falls and can’t fly again for 1d6 + 4 days. When you press the lower button, it causes the rod to become magically fixed in place. Until you or another creature uses an action to push the button again, the rod doesn't move, even if it is defying gravity. The rod can hold up to 8,000 pounds of weight. More weight causes the rod to deactivate and fall. A creature can use an action to make a DC 30 Strength check, moving the fixed rod up to 10 feet on a success.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Set: Innate Speed (Flying), Natural Weapon: Bludgeoning, Versatile, Topple
