The carbon steel blade of this sword is crafted by hand by unknown artisans using long lost forging techniques. Impossible to blunt and once attuned perfectly balanced, it deals +2 to attack rolls and damage.
This precision implement of death enhances the wielder's ability to deal devastatingly lethal strikes causing a critical hit on the target to become fatally wounded.
If a target is reduced to 5hp or lower from the critical hit using this blade it suffers an irreparable wound and dies instantly failing a DC14 constitution check.
If the target has more than 5hp it is considered wounded and takes 1d4 damage at the start of its turn until dead.
When wounded by this weapon it is not possible to regain hit points*
*This does not apply to creatures which do not bleed and does not affect legendary abilities.
