These vicious magic gauntlets have a set of extendable blades mounted to each wrist and although they may be used individually, they are designed to be used as a pair. You may extend/retract both gauntlets' wrist mounted blades using a bonus action, or a single gauntlet's wrist mounted blades as if drawing a weapon. Each gauntlet has the following properties:
- The wrist mounted blades deal 1d6 piercing damage, have the light property, and are monk weapons.
- Your unarmed strikes with the gauntlet deal 1d4 slashing damage using the claws.
While using the gauntlets as a pair, when you are targeted with a melee attack you may use your reaction to add a +2 bonus to your AC against that attack. This feature may be used after the attack is rolled, but before the result of the attack is announced.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Finesse, Light, Vex
