Sentience. Skysplitter is a sentient Lawful Neutral weapon with an Intelligence of 16, a Wisdom of 14, and a Charisma of 18. It has hearing and vision out to a range of 120 feet. The weapon can telepathically communicate with its wielder via emotions and desires.
Personality. Skysplitter is a Glory-Seeker. It wants to make itself and its wielder known as the greatest weapon and warrior in the world. If the wielder opposes the weapon's will to an extreme, the wielder is forced to make a DC 16 Charisma saving throw, or be charmed by the weapon for 1d12 hours. During this time, the wielder obeys the weapon unquestioningly. If the weapon forces the wielder to overtly act against its alignment, such as forcing a Lawful Good wielder to kill an innocent person, the wielder may retry the save.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
