The Witch Mother's Gift is a cat's eye encased in a beautifully carved emerald gemstone. The eye inside seems to dart around, as if to take in its surroundings. It replaces a real eye that was lost or removed. To attune to the Witch Mother's Gift, you must embed it within an empty eye socket. While embedded in your eye socket, it can’t be removed by anyone other than you, and you can see through the gem encased eye as though it were a normal eye.
The eye has three charges. It regains all expended charges when you finish a short rest.
As a bonus action, you can expend a charge from the eye to create a perfect illusory duplicate of yourself. The illusion appears in an unoccupied space you can see within 15 feet of you. This illusory duplicate lasts for 1 minute, until it is destroyed, until you dismiss it as a bonus action, until you create another duplicate, or until you're incapacitated.
Your duplicate has AC 14 + your proficiency bonus, 1 hit point, and immunity to all conditions. If it has to make a saving throw, it uses your saving throw bonus for the roll. It is the same size as you, and it occupies its space. On your turn, you can mentally command the illusion to move up to 30 feet in any direction (no action required). If your duplicate is ever more than 30 feet from you at the end of your turn, it is destroyed.
- As a bonus action, you can teleport, magically swapping places with your duplicate at a cost of 15 feet of your movement, regardless of the distance between the two of you.
- You can cast spells as though you were in the illusion's space. When you do so, you can add your proficiency bonus to one damage roll of the spell.
- As an action, you can see through your echo's eyes and hear through its ears. During this time, you are deafened and blinded. You can sustain this effect for up to one minute, and you can end it at any time (no action required).
