Once you open this and attempt to read this book, you are forced to spend 2 hours daily, at a time of your choosing, reading this book. Each day, at the end of your reading, you and every creature in a 15 feet radius, makes a wisdom saving throw DC 8.

Success: Go on with your day,. Albeit slightly grumpy.

Failure: Your intelligence ability score temporarily drops 1d4 points for the remainder of your day.

If you manage to do this 5 consecutive days without failing the saving throw, you are freed from the book, and have earned a permanent +1 to your Intelligence ability score.
