You gain blindsight out to 50ft while Zatōichi is on your person and you are attuned to it.
Your weapon is hidden inside a boot, gauntlet, sleeve, staff, hat, cane or another possible location on your person and can be pulled out, ejected via a mechanism or reinserted as a bonus action. The weapon remains hidden unless a creature succeeds on a DC 20 Intelligence (investigation) check to search you.
When a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with an attack while you are wielding Zatōichi, you can deflect the attack and reduce the damage as a reaction by 1d4 plus your proficiency bonus (to a minimum of 0 damage).
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
