According to Jiyu, this is a standard blade of the Suzean military. Although it may appear as a rare find, it's said to be commonly used among higher-ranking officers. Usually, these are wielded by those who search and execute monster-hybrids like our spider-y friend. Despite, its odd appearance, it works essentially the same as a greatsword, but requires specific training that a Suzean warrior may provide.
This blade does not require attunement but requires training. It also provides the following effects:
1. Deals an extra 1d6 Thunder damage upon hit.
2. The wielder can cast Level 1 Thunderwave twice per short rest.
3. If the wielder is within 10ft of a creature, they can lunge at the enemy with a free movement of 5ft.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
