Zeus's Wrath is a beautifully crafted weapon, its shaft made of an unknown, unbreakable metal that shimmers with a faint, electric blue hue. The spearhead is etched with ancient runes and seems to crackle with lightning.
Properties:
- Damage: 1d6 piercing (melee) or 1d8 piercing (thrown, range 20/60)
- Versatile: 1d8 piercing (if used with two hands to make a melee attack)
Special Abilities:
- Lightning Strike:
- As a bonus action, you can cause the spear to deal an additional 1d8 lightning damage on a hit. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once) and recharges after a long rest.
- Thunderous Retribution:
- When you throw the spear, you can choose to call down a bolt of lightning upon the target. This functions as the spell Call Lightning (DC 15) centered on the target. Once used, this ability cannot be used again until the next dawn.
- Storm's Fury:
- While attuned to the spear, you have resistance to lightning and thunder damage.
- Zeus's Command:
- The spear returns to your hand immediately after it is thrown as long as it is within 60 feet of you.
Attunement:
- Requires attunement by a Monk or someone with a divine connection
