Some time after being turned to gold by the cursed touch of the skull of Yaka, this weapon has been magically enchanted to once again function, and is surprisingly light for a bow made of solid gold.
It does not use ammunition, instead when the wielder draws back the bowstring a golden arrow forms knocked and fires like a normal arrow.
You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
On a roll of 20, the target creature must succeed a constitution save (DC = damage dealt, max DC 24) or be turned to solid gold. (This has no effect against creatures immune to petrification, creatures with legendary resistances, or any creature deemed by the GM to be too powerful, these creatures are instead turned to gold upon death).
DC formula example (max dice +dex +3 +rolled dice) = 8+8+1D8 =17-24) only damage caused by the bow is included (ignore all other damage sources during this calculation)
On a roll of 1, roll again. If another roll of 1 is obtained, the wielder is turned to gold and their soul is trapped within the bow.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
