This plate is composed entirely of Adamanthril. It is a relic of the first age when the Etarnii road the storms alongside the first dragons and fought the gods alongside their elder kin, as such it cannot be recreated today with the power of creation itself, or an awoken piece of a god's soul. It requires incredible power to harness this plate. There are no visible straps on this immaculately crafted set of armor, small interlocking pieces of Adamanthril cover the ridges. Even up close it is challenging to spot any gaps in the plate. When the visor is down, there are no visible eye slits on the plate, instead, it is intricately engraved with patterns and runes like the rest of the armor. This set of armor has a pale blue coloration that covers the entirety of the set and almost seems to glow with that color faintly.
This plate has 3 charges which recharge daily at dawn. If all charges are consumed, then at dawn roll a d20. On a result of a natural 1, the plate no longer regains charges. Additionally, you can make the armor appear around you, and disappear from your form using a bonus action. Finally, whenever you roll a 20, you may choose to forgo the benefits of that critical roll and instead regain 1 charge (These regained charges cannot surpass the 3 charge maximum).
While attuned to this magical item, and while it is equipped, you may consume charges to cast the following spells targeting yourself and perform the following actions:
- As an action consume 3 charges to cast Stoneskin.
- As part of the attack action, consume 3 charges to gain an additional attack.
- As a reaction, consume 2 charges to raise your AC by an amount equal to your proficiency modifier.
- As an action consume 2 charges to cast Fly.
- As a bonus action consume 1 charge to cast Misty Step.
- As a bonus action, consume 1 charge to take the Dash action.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
