The Whispering Blade is a finely crafted longsword with a slender, silver blade that shimmers faintly in the light. The hilt is wrapped in black leather, and the pommel is set with a small, emerald-green gem. When held, the blade emits a faint, ethereal whisper that only the wielder can hear.

The Whispering Blade is said to have been crafted by an ancient order of mystics who sought to bridge the gap between different cultures and races. The whispers are the voices of those long past, offering guidance and wisdom to those deemed worthy.

The Blades Abilities -

Whispering Guidance: The blade provides the wielder with advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks and Charisma (Persuasion) checks.

Linguist's Gift: While attuned to the Whispering Blade, the wielder can speak and understand any language.

Ethereal Whisper: Once per day, as an action, the wielder can command the blade to emit a powerful ethereal whisper. All creatures within 20 feet of the wielder must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed for 1 minute. While charmed, creatures see the wielder as a trusted friend to be heeded and protected. This effect ends if the creature takes damage or is attacked.

Wielder's Whisper: The wielder can cast the spell Message at will, using the blade as the source of the message.

 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Advantage: Insight, Advantage: Persuasion, The blade's whispers can be unsettling to those who are not attuned to it. Anyone who tries to wield the blade without attuning must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute.
