This small crystalline vial dangling from a silver neck chain contains the blood of the many victims of the fallen angel Aenglorh, it boils with wicked ferocity and always seems to be trying to escape its confinement. While attuned to this item you gain resistance to necrotic damage and advantage on saving throws against necrotic spells and effects, by concentrating this vial also allows you to magically infuse the blood contained within into an already slain creature and have it act under your direction, taking an action to do so. However, should you lose concentration then the reanimated corpse will begin to run amok and act under its own volition until you regain control or until it is destroyed or after one minute has elapsed. While infused with the blood the creature becomes a zombie and retains its original stat-line but cannot use any of its unique abilities, though it does gain the zombie feature, Undead Fortitude. The creature remains a zombie for one minute, until it is destroyed or until you summon the blood back into its vial at which time the body disintegrates and cannot be reanimated by any means short of a Wish spell. The vial contains 10 charges that are expended in order to create a zombie and are regained over a long rest, the number of charges expended is proportional to the size of the creature being reanimated and the amount of health they have as well as the difficulty of regaining control should you lose concentration.
