The Wrapped longsword looks like a a basic steel longsword with a typical string wrap for the handle. it has a dark cloth wrapping around the top two thirds of the blade, this make all attacks do bludgeoning damage, unless attacking with the final one third of the blade. the wrapping can not be removed at all. the attacks for the sword counts a magical.
This sword is a Hexblade and works as a narrative way to become a Hexblade Warlock, and will only become unwrapped and take the form of a Hexblade when possessor becomes a warlock. (for 5.5E, when they get their subclass at 3rd level and become a Hexblade) once un wrapped it take the form of what ever blade the Hexblade wants it to, (scimitar, short sword, great sword, etc.) if the DM allows this can be a magic sword.
