Weapon (shortsword), legendary (requires attunement by a descendant of Lily of Valley, or someone who was given the sword by one of her descendants.)

Cragflame is crafted from a massive tooth of the Wildfire Wolf, honed down to a size manageable for little folk. It has a sigil-etched, curved blade that is sharpened on both edges, tapering to a wicked point. The hilt is simple, and cord-wrapped, while the pommel is carved into the shape of a dancing flame.

When used, a sheen of flame ripples along the sword, sigils on the blade give off a reddish light, and a magical warmth imbues its wielder. Its enchanted flames can be called upon by its wielder in times of need, forming the shape of a wolf, and it is known to burn those who try to steal it to ashes.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls with Cragflame. When you hit with it, the target takes an extra 2d6 fire damage.

You can use a bonus action to speak this magic sword's command word, causing flames to erupt from the blade. These flames shed bright light in a 40-foot radius and dim light for an additional 40 feet. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 2d8 fire damage to any target it hits. The flames last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword.

Wildfire Mastery. You gain the following benefits while you hold Cragflame:

• You can't be frightened by elementals.
• You have resistance to fire damage.
• You can sense the presence of elementals within half a mile of you, but not their exact location.
• You can cast compelled duel (save DC 17) on an elemental. If that elemental is Wildsear, he automatically fails the save. Once you have done so, Cragflame can’t be used this way again until the next dawn.

Heroism. Cragflame has 3 charges. You can use your action to expend 1 charge and cast the 2nd-level version of heroism (DC 17). Cragflame regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn.

Curse. A powerful enchantment has been placed on Cragflame. A creature that tries to steal the sword triggers the enchantment, and the immolation is cast on it, persisting until the sword is put back. The sword must be freely given by a descendant of Lily of Valley.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
