Wyvern's Aegis is a suit of heavy armour able to stop some of the strongest blows the mortal races can create. It is jet black with bony protrusions coming off of it, looking somewhat crude in it's craftsmanship. Made of the scales of the Sea King and the bones of a Nakarkos, the parts are dyed black by the Essence of Shadow, granting enhanced stealth. The centerpiece of the suit is the Birth Scale of Isskaldr, the Dragon God of Winter, allowing it to absorb the cold and cold related attacks. When enough is absorbed the user can even use it's power to control the wind to a minor degree. It has a vaguely rainbow tint when the light hits it right coming from the elder dragons blood which coats it granting the user enhanced energy defence.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
