Black iron twin hand-axes, engulfed in flames that emerge from the faces of two female humanoids shaped within the centre of each iron axe head. These flames creep from the eyes and mouths of each female face, shifting from dark red to greenish sickly in colour, one frozen in ecstatic fury and the other deep despair. Large horns curl back from their temples and jut out at the back of each axe, forming a V-shaped claw. The axes are rumoured to have been forged within the great pits of Avernus, using the twinned souls of two scheming devils, and it is said if you listen carefully, in the depths of night, you can still hear their final screams.
These two axes are magically bound and count as a single magic item with regard to the number of magic items you can attune to. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with these magic weapons, which return to your open hand after you make a ranged attack with them. If the two axes are separated and you are holding one of them, you can use a bonus action to cause the other one to teleport and reappear in your open hand or at your feet (your choice each time).
When you make an opportunity attack using the axes, you can make two attacks against the provoking creature instead of one, once with each axe.
The Wicked Sisters are a cursed pair of items. At the end of every Long Rest, the axes will ask its wielder in ethereal whispers, "How much are you willing to sacrifice?" If you reply with “‘nothing" you gain no bonuses until it asks the question again. If you choose to sacrifice you may further reduce your maximum hit points by increments of 5 up to a maximum of 20. For every 5 you reduce you're maximum health points by, you gain an additional +1d6 fire damage, or necrotic damage, made by these weapons. If you respond to the question with “everything", you reduce your maximum hit points by 35 and gain an additional +4d6 fire damage, or necrotic damage, made with these weapons and attacks with The Wicked Sisters roll critical hits on attack rolls of 18 or higher. The reduction caused by sacrificing your maximum health points cannot be reduced by resistances or features and cannot be recovered until after a Long Rest.
Curse: When you attune to these weapons the curse transfers to you, and your maximum hit points are reduced by 5.The wielder of The Wicked Sisters has disadvantage to use any other weapons while attuned to these magic weapons and will not willingly part with The Wicked Sisters, even keeping a grip on the weapons while they sleep. If the wielder of The Wicked Sisters avoids bloodshed at any point while attuned (GM's discretion) the Sister's will attempt to force the wielder to attack wildly, requiring an Intelligence Save (DC18) or they will act as if under the effect of the Enemies Abound spell for 1 Minute. After 1 Minute the effect of Enemies Abound ends. If they save successfully then they are not effected but must perform the save every Minute until the wielder damages another creature using The Wicked Sisters. This curse is not removed by un-attuning to The Wicked Sisters. Only the use of a Wish spell can remove this curse.
