About 4 inches in diameter, this item resembles a flat, coin like object made of a brittle, golden metallic substance with ornate markings. One side is engraved with complex runes and symbols. The other side features a complex, lifelike carving of your face, encircled with more unknown symbols and runes like a sort of halo. The token hums, glows, and vibrates slightly when held close to you. Snap the token in two to unleash the magic trapped within.

When this token is broken, time warps and seems to slow. The user will become paralyzed for what feels like 2 hours. However, to the outside world, only 2 minutes pass. This allows the user to take a 2 hour short rest in just 2 minutes. There is no way to end the effect early, or to stop the paralysis until the magic has run its course.

When using this item, the user may take a short rest for 2 minutes, consuming as many hp dice as they please. Spell casters will regain 1 lvl 3 spell slot, 2 lvl 2 spell slots, and 3 lvl 1 spell slots at the end of their rest. If there is not room for the spells, they will be wasted and cannot be converted into sorcery points (I’m looking at you, Ed).
