Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement)
Description. The White Scar rune is small, no larger than a thumbprint, its surface a smooth, polished ivory, etched with delicate, pale blue lines in the shape of intersecting arcs. Precise geometric inscriptions weave through these curves, shimmering faintly whenever radiant energy flows nearby. At its center, a single, translucent gemstone rests flush with the surface, emanating an occasional pulse of light as if breathing. The rune feels warm to the touch regardless of the surrounding temperature, and when held, a distant yet calming hum resonates softly. While almost weightless, it holds a strange, subtle pressure, as though the expanse of a vast sky exists within its minuscule form. Upon closer inspection, microcracks swirl around the embedded stone, giving it a slightly scarred appearance that doesn't mar its pristine nature but instead suggests hidden strength.
Usage. When attached to armor or a weapon, this rune increases any healing received by the wearer by 2 additional hit points per healing roll. Furthermore, the wearer can heal an extra 1d4 hit points once per long rest when exposed to direct sunlight. Any healing spell used on the user also removes one non-magical scar from their body if the healing restores them to full hit points.
Lore. Crafted by a divine rune master anciently affiliated with the Celestial Archons, the White Scar was often gifted to warriors who sought the healing grace of light. Legends say that its essence was drawn from the final breath of a fallen solar, harvesting the unrivaled purity of the heavens. Over time, the rune earned its name by mysteriously diminishing any trace of battle wounds, leaving only the faintest sensation—like a scar in the light.
Material Composition. Ivory imbued with celestial radiant energy
