Cloudiron is a light, flexible metal. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks, has an armor check penalty, reduces your speed, arcane spell faliure chance or has a Strength requirement, the cloudiron version of the armor doesn't.

Storm's Embrace: Once per long rest, you can summon a powerful gust of wind as a reaction to take half damage from a single attack, pushing the attacker 10 feet away unless they succeed on a DC 19 Strength saving throw.
Cyclone Strike: Once per day, as an action, you can unleash a blast of cyclonic energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 19 Strength saving throw, taking 6d10 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Additionally, creatures hit are pushed 15 feet away from you.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
