Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a Offering of Pain: As part of the attunement, you must willingly cause yourself harm. Using a dagger or other sharp instrument, you must deal 1d4 slashing damage to yourself. The damage cannot be reduced or prevented in any way. As your blood touches the doll’s tattered cloth, you feel a cold, invisible force begin to wrap around your mind.)

Crafted from dark, weathered wood and adorned with tattered, bloodstained cloth, the Woundwaker Doll is a small, sinister effigy imbued with malevolent magic. Its hollow eyes seem to follow your movements, and faint whispers of torment echo when it is held.

While attuned to this doll, whenever you take damage, you can use your reaction to transfer that damage to a creature you can see within 60 feet of you. The target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature suffers the same amount of damage you would have taken, reduced by half on a successful save. This damage takes the same form as the original damage type you received.

Once the doll has transferred damage three times, it falls dormant until the next dawn, its power temporarily spent, the cloth clinging to it dampened by unseen tears.

Notes: Offering of Pain: As part of the attunement, you must willingly cause yourself harm. Using a dagger or other sharp instrument, you must deal 1d4 slashing damage to yourself. The damage cannot be reduced or prevented in any way. As your blood touches the doll’s tattered cloth, you feel a cold, invisible force begin to wrap around your mind.
