Weapon (whip), artifact (requires attunement by a Requires 2 slots and fresh godless blood to attune, god affiliated classes cannot use (except oathbreaker))

Thus weapon has multiple states, Dormant, Rousing, Awakened, Exalted.

Dormant: a magical whip that does 1d4 additional necrotic damage.

Rousing: A +1 whip that gains and additional d4 of cold damage. It's reach is now 15 ft.

Awakened: A +2 whip that once per turn you can double the length of the whips range. When doing so the whip gains 1d4 force damage. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. The number you need to roll to get a crit is also reduced by 1.

Exalted: A +3 whip all whip damage is now force damage. Once per-long rest you can become the avatar of the godless. You gain spectral skeletal wings that give you a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You also become immune to necrotic and radiant damage. Any hostile creatures that can see this visage must make a wisdom saving throw (DC 18) god affiliated creatures have disadvantage on this save. When a creature fails its saving throw it becomes petrified with fear. Their movement becomes 0 and they have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks. They can make this save again at the end of each of their turns. If they succeed the effect ends and they are immune for 24 hours.

Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
