This ring gives permanent Invis. Right. i cant find anything that states (D&D2024) you loose the invisiblity condition when you attack or take the magic action.

This changes the Item (2014) from already really good to (2024) godlike strong. You are Invis as long as you want. even while fighting and casting and stuff.

Shouldn't it be called a ring of GREATER invisibility? This gives the lvl 4 spell, not the lvl 2 spell, which is what the legacy ring did.

 well, it is a legendary ring after all, so the cost in gold is around 2 million GP give or take.  Sounds about right to me.

Invisibility doesn't mean you can't be attacked. If you cast a spell or attack or make any noise moving around then, according to the PHB 2024, you just roll with disadvantage.

"Unseen Attackers and Targets

When you make an attack roll against a target you can’t see, you have Disadvantage on the roll. This is true whether you’re guessing the target’s location or targeting a creature you can hear but not see. If the target isn’t in the location you targeted, you miss."

So it is powerful, certainly worthy of a Legendary item, but it doesn't make you unattackable by any means.

Thanks for this. It is an incredibly good and powerful item, yes. But it isn't equal to godlike power by itself.

I had to check it, but the fact you just stay invisible and can attack and cast spells is so powerful. So much better than invisible till you do something like interact with an object.
