The Wildspeaker's Beastiary appears as a hard cover book covered in different vines and vegetation with roughly 100 empty pages, though this number can vary depending on the beastiary.

When a player this item is attuned to kills a monster, if there is not already a page describing that monster's species and there are any blank pages remaining inside the beastiary, one of the blank pages turns into a page describing that monster's species, alongside their strengths and weaknesses, written in the language of the attuned player's choice. These pages do not become blank again once attunement is lost.
