Weapon (rifle, hunting), legendary (requires attunement by a Spend an hour bonding with the weapon during a short or long rest.)

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

MAGIC BULLETS

Use up a spell slot to cast a spell into the gun as a bonus action. The gun transforms the spell into a bullet. If a creature is hit, the creature casts the spell loaded in the gun using your spell modifier focused on the point the bullet hit. If you miss, the spell is still cast from the point the bullet it hit. Misfire 1d20+ 1/2 spell casting modifier for a DC 8+level of spell. On fail the bullet transforms into a random spell of equal level to the one used. On crit fail cast any random spell from any class, at lowest level possible. (Does not use a spell slot)

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
