Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Good or neutral aligned creatures )

Yayu's Child:

The Sword of Grand Evil’s Bane. It has been taken from  in times of need to be wielded by only the most courageous of heroes and the most daring ones, at that.

Attunement: If the creature trying to attune with the weapon is of any non evil alignment, the creature must make a DC 16 Wisdom Saving Throw every round (6 seconds). On a failed save the creature takes 5d6 radiant damage. On a successful save the creature takes half as much damage.

Evil Creatures: All evil creatures must make these saving throws with disadvantage. On a failed save they die. On a successful save they are reduced to 1 hit point and release the sword.

Chosen One: The appropriate deity (Yayu) may bless a creature, binding their soul to the weapon itself. A creature blessed in this way makes the saving throws with advantage. They also have resistance to all damage taken by during the attunement.

Yayu's Divine Sense: Yayu's Child grants you the ability to sense strong evil presences surrounding you in a 70 foot radius. You can be able to detect any evil aligned creatures for about an hour. You can determine the location of  the evil creature(s). You can also locate the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated,  such as with the Hallow spell. As Yayu's Child scales up in stages between Semi-awakened and fully awakened, the radius increases by 20 feet.

Normal State (Stage 1): Yayu's Child is a magical +1 longsword that deals 1d8 slashing damage and 1d6 radiant damage on a hit. While the wielder is not below half of their hit points, they can shoot a sword beam in place of a weapon attack. The sword beam has a range of 60 ft (radius 60ft:  line) and deals 3d10 radiant damage. The target must succeed a Dexterity Saving Throw (DC 16). You can also be able to cast Bless twice per dawn.In it’s dormant state, Yayu's Child glows a faint yellow/gold light (dim,5 feet).

Semi-Awakened State (Stage 2): Yayu's Child is a magical +2 longsword that deals 2d8 slashing damage and 3d6 radiant damage on a hit. While the wielder is not below half of their hit points, they can shoot a larger sword beam in place of a weapon attack. The sword beam has a range of 70 ft (radius 70ft:  line) and deals 5d10 radiant damage. The target must succeed a Dexterity Saving Throw (DC 18). You can also be able to cast Healing Word at 3th level twice per dawn.In it’s semi-awakened state, Yayu's Child glows a light green bright light within 10 feet.

Awakened State (Stage 3): In it’s awakened state, Yayu's Child glows a light blue bright light within 20 feet and a dim light the 20ft beyond that. It also becomes +3 magic weapon and deals 3d8 slashing damage and 5d6 radiant damage on a hit.While the wielder has half to full health, they can shoot a sword beam of greater intensity in place of a weapon attack. The sword beam has a range of 80 ft (radius 80ft:  line) and deals 7d10 radiant damage. The target must succeed a Dexterity Saving Throw (DC 20). You can also be able to cast Sunbeam at 7th level twice per dawn.

Awakening Yayu's Child: Yayu's Child can be awakened in 3 ways:

1) When within 120 ft of Malice or another source of great evil.

2) When within 120 ft of a creature of CR of 8 or higher that has any evil alignment.

3) When empowered through specific trials. This empowerment tends to have 3 stages. First,it permanently deals an additional 2d6 radiant damage. Second it becomes a +2 weapon. And third it enters its awakened state.

Yayu's Child (Persistence): If Yayu's Child is destroyed, its remains disappear and it magically reappears in its scabbard after 10 minutes. If it’s is destroyed it reappears within 5ft of the wielder after 10 minutes. If the sword is destroyed, then the scabbard, the sword reappears inside the scabbard once the scabbard reappears.

Should the wielder be killed, the sword disappears after 2 minutes unless the wielder is returned to life before then. The sword and it’s scabbard reappear wherever it wishes.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
