Description: The Zephyrstorm Bow gleams with an ethereal light, its glorious frame carved from the finest etheric silverwood. Gossamer-like stormglass fibers snake around the length, capturing the sheer intensity of a static lightning storm within their delicate confines. The limbs of the bow arc beautifully, mimicking the elegant sweep of arcing lightning bolts, with incantations etched in azure along their expanse. A grip formed from enchanted cloud silk provides a hint of translucency, almost as if holding a fragment of the sky itself. When drawn, the bowstring thrums with a soft electricity, dancing with blue sparks that arouse an aura of awe and power.
Usage: The Zephyrstorm Bow never runs out of arrows, automatically generating a bolt of lightning with each draw. It grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. When firing, the bow creates a 5-foot-wide line of lightning extending up to its maximum range. On a hit, the target suffers an additional 2d8 lightning damage, and creatures along the line must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take half the initial additional lightning damage.
Lore: Crafted by the hands of an exiled artisan who harnessed the tumultuous wrath of an endless storm, the Zephyrstorm Bow was born from tragedy. Cursed for defying the natural order, the maker invested his own catastrophic end into the bow's creation. Legends recount his final words echoing through the gales, leaving remnants of his tortured spirit within the bow, which continues to seek redemption through mastery of the skies.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
