An ancient shield infused with chaotic energies of the Feyrealms. It hums faintly with an uncontrollable power, eager to unleash its magic. When attuned to this shield, the wielder can sense its mischievous and unpredictable nature.
Ability - Wild Magic Surge Trigger:
If the shield is struck (i.e., the attack roll hits the wielder's AC due to the shield), the chaotic magic within the shield retaliates. If the attack roll falls within the range created by the shield's AC bonus (e.g., for a total AC of 18, an attack roll of 16-18 triggers the surge), a Wild Magic Surge is cast on the attacker.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
