" Ahh. Yes, I was quite the sailor in my day. My heart used to sing for joy when the ice retreated with the coming of Mirtul. Some floes needed more convincing than others." -Xavtiln Fiedlerson; to his grandson on the way to Luskan
Valkurs BurgRender is an average-sized glaive. The blade is made of a bronze-colored metal with a small guard that resembles two lighting bolts that flare out horizontally. A third lightning bolt stretches down the matte black shaft a few inches. Its pommel is also made of the same bronze-colored metal and resembles a small bell.
Valkur's BurgRender gives a +1 to damage total when performing melee attacks.
Once per bonus action, if the player has polearm mastery as a feat and chooses to strike with their pommel they can expend 1 charge from Valkur's BurgRender and instead cast Thunderwave as a lvl 1 spell.
Valkur's BurgRender Can hold 3 charges. A small magic phylactery is hidden in the deepest part of the bell-shaped pommel and must be filled with a drop of water or brine to recharge its magical properties. Short rests will add 1 charge to Valkur's BurgRender while a long rest will add 3.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Damage: Slashing, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze
