"made from a species of  tree that grew on the moon, it holds within it a solid-gold core and the outside is decorated with "countless pearly-threads" it's a wooden polearm capped with a sharpened spade on one end and a crescent-shaped blade on the other. 

While wielding this double-sided weapon you gain +1 AC.

While holding this weapon, you can take a Bonus Action to change what side you use with the spade side doing slashing damage while the crescent side does piercing.

Ranged Weapon (Crescent side only). This weapon has the Thrown property with a normal range of 30 feet and a long range of 120 feet. Immediately after you make a ranged attack with the weapon, it flies back to your hand.

If you attack with a this weapon as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action immediately after to make another melee attack with it with the other side of the weapon. This attack can either deal 1d6 piercing/slashing (depending on the side you used to make your first attack) or 1d6 radiant damage.
